The Health and Social Protection Delegation of Taza region, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Bab Lemrissa and the Rotary Club of Casa Luzis, and under the supervision of the Regional Directorate of Health and Social Protection in Fès-Meknès, organized a health convoy at the Second Level Urban Health Center in Tahla.
In implementation of the royal directives aimed at bringing health services closer, the health convoy was organized in cooperation with local and regional authorities and the Tahla community, and in partnership with the National Initiative for the Development and Advancement of Rural Women Association in Tahla, and the Al Amal Social Welfare Association Oued Amlil.
Surgeries for cataracts and ocular polyps took place on May 16, 17, 18, and 19, 2024, resulting in 97 cataract surgeries and 13 cases of ocular polyps removal.
This humanitarian initiative was well received by the beneficiaries, emphasizing the importance of joint efforts in improving health services for all.
