Secretary-General of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers praises Hammouchi on the 68th anniversary of the establishment of the National Security + (video)
The fifth edition of the “Open Doors Days” organized by the General Directorate of National Security, under the slogan “National Security: Citizenship, Responsibility and Solidarity”.
The event, which will last until May 21, aims to shed light on the various missions carried out by security units and formations, in addition to reviewing the advanced equipment and equipment adopted by the General Directorate of National Security to ensure the safety of individuals and property and maintain public order.
The opening ceremony was chaired by Minister of Interior Abdelwafi Lefteit and Director General of National Security and Surveillance Abdellatif Hammouchi, in the presence of several members of the government, representatives of international organizations such as Interpol and the Council of Arab Interior Ministers, as well as judicial, civil and military figures.
The opening ceremony was marked by the presentation of the logistical and operational means of the security units, in addition to technical presentations, including a video presentation on the history of the city of Agadir and its reconstruction after the 1960 earthquake, and the presentation of intervention and self-defense techniques.
The event included presentations on the “Iblagh” platform for reporting illegal digital content on the Internet, and a simulation exercise to dismantle a terrorist cell in cooperation with special forces and experts from the Scientific and Technical Police.
As part of the event, live demonstrations on handling weapons and the Moroccan model for managing major events, as well as drone demonstrations and the distribution of royal medals to police officers.
The event’s program includes lectures on the experience of public forces during the management of the Al Hawz earthquake, the role of artificial intelligence in security, and the role of genetics in criminal investigations.
This communication event, which started in 2016 in Casablanca, is an opportunity for citizens to discover aspects of the police profession and communicate with policemen and policewomen from different specialties and fields.
