The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs announced that the beginning of the month of Dhul-Qi’dah in the year 1445 AH will be the day after tomorrow, Friday, May 10, 2024 AD.
The Ministry stated, in a statement, that it monitored the crescent of the month of Dhu al-Qi’dah for the year 1445 AH, after sunset on Wednesday, and contacted all representatives of Islamic affairs in the Kingdom, and the units of the Royal Armed Forces contributing to monitoring the crescent, and they all assured it that its sighting had not been confirmed.
The following is the text of the communication:
“The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs informs citizens that it has observed the crescent of the month of Dhu al-Qi’dah for the year 1445 AH, after sunset on Wednesday, Shawwal 29, 1445 AH, corresponding to May 8, 2024 AD, and has contacted all representatives of Islamic affairs in the Kingdom, and the units of the Royal Armed Forces contributing to observing the crescent, They all assured her that his vision had not been confirmed.
Accordingly, the first of Shawwal will have completed thirty days, and the beginning of Dhul-Qi’dah will be Friday, May 10, 2024 AD.
May God grant this blessed month to our Lord, Commander of the Faithful and protector of the homeland and religion, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God grant him victory with Yemen, goodness, good news and blessings, and to his Crown Prince, His Royal Highness, the honorable Prince Moulay El Hassan, and to his happy guardian, His Royal Highness the glorious Prince Moulay Rachid, and the rest of the members of the royal family.
