The Fez Gate Association is organizing a unique traditional costume show in its first edition on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at the concert hall (Le Pavillon D’or) in Fez.
This show aims to highlight the cultural, artistic, aesthetic and historical peculiarities of Moroccan traditional dress, celebrate the fine clothes worn by mothers and grandmothers, and shed light on Moroccan dress and its development throughout the ages, in addition to consolidating the cultural dimensions of Moroccan dress, which Moroccans have preserved and continue to preserve for centuries, as it appears. Their attachment to various traditional clothes is evident, especially at weddings and events. Moroccan traditional dress is an integral part of wealth, and one of the ingredients necessary to build the glories of civilization.
This ceremony will be characterized by important interventions by experts and prominent figures specialized in the history of traditional costumes and the traditional industry sector.
