The Meknes Television Drama Festival returns with a new breath for its thirteenth session

The 13th edition of the Meknes Television Drama Festival returns with a new breath! The city of Meknes will host the activities of this edition of the Meknes Television Drama Festival, organized by the Free Show Association, from May 3 to 7, 2024, under the high patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.

This session is distinguished by honoring the capable artists Souad Khayi and Muhammad Al-Naji.

Seven television films and six series are participating in the official competition. In addition, an intellectual and academic symposium will be held on the topic “What are the prospects for developing television drama in Morocco… intersecting visions?”, bringing together critics, professionals and drama makers for dialogue and discussion. The Meknes Television Drama Festival is an important occasion to communicate with national drama makers and follow their work.

In the 13th edition of the Meknes Television Drama Festival, seven television films and six series are participating. Here is a list of participating films:

“Year Zein” directed by Youssef Dani.

“Batima 42” directed by Hisham Al-Asri.

“A Trip to Essaouira” by director Abdel Karim El Derkaoui.

“Holland’s Girl” directed by Mohamed Bozko.

“Al-Nasiba” directed by Mohamed Bou Salem.

“The Love Boat” directed by Youssef Massine.

“Try to see” by director Latfi Ait El Jaoui.

“Daughters of Iron” directed by Alaa Akaboun.

“2 Faces” directed by Mourad Al-Khoudi.

“Sabre Silk” directed by Yazid Al-Qadiri.

“Dar El-Nisa” directed by Samia Agrio.

“Fates” directed by Hamid Zayan.

“The Bird Except for Fargo” by director Hakim Al-Qababi.

As for comedy series, these are the participating series:

“Pocket Your Home” directed by Safaa Baraka.

“What is this” also directed by Safaa Baraka.
