The President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, Faouzi Lakjaa, this Sunday evening, extended his warm congratulations to the RS Berkane team for qualifying for the final of the African Confederation Cup, after the Algiers Sports Federation withdrew and refused to play the match against its Moroccan rival.
Speaking on his own behalf and on behalf of the members of the Royal University’s Directorate of Football via social media, Lakkaa extended his congratulations to Nahdet Berkane Club after qualifying with a score of 6-0 for the final of the African Club Cup.
This unprecedented qualification comes after the withdrawal of the US Capital Club and its refusal to play the second leg of the semi-final of the competition, which was scheduled for this Sunday evening, on the grounds of the municipal stadium of Berkane.
In the final, Al-Barakani Club will face the Egyptian team, Zamalek, which defeated the Ghanaian Dream Team in the semi-final with an aggregate score of 3-0, combining the results of the two-legged matches.
