The municipality of Bni Frassen in the Taza province witnessed partial elections yesterday, Tuesday, to fill a vacant seat in the same municipality.
Competing for the vacant seat were two candidates representing the Authenticity and Modernity Party and the Socialist Union.
The candidate Mohammed Ajtiou, from the Authenticity and Modernity Party, succeeded in winning these elections by receiving 197 votes, leading over his closest competitor, the candidate from the Socialist Union, who received only 7 votes.
This victory is considered a triumph for the Authenticity and Modernity Party in this municipality, and it strengthens its presence in the municipal councils at the level of Taza province.
