Yesterday, Tuesday, the municipality of Taynast in the Taza province witnessed partial elections to fill a vacant seat in the same municipality.
Competing for the vacant seat were two candidates representing the Progressive and Socialist Party and the Popular Movement.
The candidate from the Progressive and Socialist Party succeeded in winning these elections by receiving 122 votes, leading over his closest competitor, the candidate from the Popular Movement, who received 53 votes.
This victory is considered a triumph for the Progressive and Socialist Party in this municipality, and it strengthens its presence in the municipal councils at the level of Taza province.
