Police officers in Tangier arrested a suspect on Wednesday in connection with a case involving the possession and trafficking of drugs and psychotropic substances.
According to a statement from the General Directorate of National Security, the arrest took place in the city of Tangier, where the suspect was caught in the act of possessing and trafficking drugs. A large quantity of drugs was found in his possession, including 1800 “Zipem” tablets, doses of cocaine, and a sum of money suspected to be from the proceeds of this criminal activity.
The suspect has been detained for judicial investigation under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office, in order to uncover all the circumstances of this case, identify the other persons involved in this criminal activity, and arrest them.
