Security forces were able to arrest the first suspect upon her arrival at the Fes train station from one of the northern cities of the Kingdom. A large quantity of narcotic pills was found in her possession, totaling 1560 pills, including 960 pills of the types “Zypam” and “Nodaz” and 600 Ecstasy pills.
Following up on the leads of this operation, security forces were able to arrest the two other suspects during a raid carried out in the city of Fes. They are suspected of being involved in the trafficking of this shipment of psychotropic substances. A sum of money was found in their possession, which is believed to be from the proceeds of this criminal activity.
The three suspects have been placed in police custody pending the outcome of the judicial investigation being carried out under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office.
Investigations are underway to uncover all the circumstances of this case, identify all criminal acts attributed to those involved, and uncover the source and destination of these drugs.
