Why doesn’t our media become a raw knowledge material that constitutes a research reference for science students who thirst for correct and peaceful information about the regions of their region?
Why doesn’t our media become a real actor in conveying the truth and the image as it is? Away from narrow and hollow political bidding that will not serve any party, why doesn’t our regional media become open to all types of information and news with open arms, monitoring the nature of the ongoing movement with detachment and transcendence from subjectivity and personal positions? The residents of the region are looking forward to knowing what is happening and do not need anyone to assess what is happening to them. It happens, as it possesses the analytical ability that qualifies it to derive judgment and take positions without assigning a person to carry out this task on behalf of the population.
The resident of the Fez-Meknes region today, with the long experience she has accumulated in reading and searching for information and truth, today looks forward to a strong regional media institution that represents regional public opinion and conveys to her the reality of the region as it is and what is going on in its area with impartiality. The Fez-Meknes region, by virtue of its regional richness and historical heritage, its multiculturalism, its community mobility, the development potential of its economy, the centrality of its scientific and university activity, the momentum of its community and civil activity, and the aspiration of those in charge of managing its local affairs for more modernization and restructuring projects, is in dire need of a strong media platform today. And sober, keeping pace with the movement of development, conveying images and events, meeting the population’s desire for a sophisticated media product, pure of impurities, distractions, deviations, subjectivities, lies, nonsense, suppressed things, wars, and score-settling, media that lives up to the taste of the population of the Fez-Meknes region, in conveying the event as it happened without distortion, while compiling information of all kinds. And archive it and make it available to the reader whenever he wants, in all areas and fields.
Our ambition is for the “Fez News Media” platform to be a media outlet for the residents of the Fez-Meknes region, and a knowledge and information garden that provides them with information in a simple, easy, accurate and truthful manner that is close to them, as a service from us to the issues of the nation and the region, and a contribution from us as young media professionals to modernizing our national media, and a gesture from us in creating media. Without a strong and sober regional media, it is not possible to achieve advanced regional positions that would be acceptable to the women, men and youth of the Fez-Meknes region.
